Daily Baby Routine! | 5 Month Old

One of my most popular video requests is to show more of my routines...daily routine, skincare routine, makeup routine, night/morning routine and baby routines! So I've decided to start sharing a bit more of those. Today I'm sharing Andrea's baby routine, or a day in his life from when he gets up in the morning to when he goes to sleep at night. The only thing I left out was his dream feed at 9pm because I do that in the pitch dark! So there was no way I could film. Of course please also keep in mind that not every single day is the same and things do crop up or vary depending on the day but in general this is what his routine looks like at 5 months old.

7 Minute Workout Routine!

These pictures were taken in the freezing cold...but because today's video is a my updated workout routine, I don't have a traditional outfit to show you guys. Instead, here is my workout look courtesy of Lululemon. My workouts are simple, short and require no equipment. You can do them at home (I normally do them early in the morning when everyone else is asleep in my underwear, lol!) and they only take 7 minutes! Although I repeat the workout twice more...so my routine is about 20 minutes. But this is still doable, even if you're a busy mum or have a hectic schedule. If this workout is not for you, I encourage you to check out Lucy's channel for more incredibly effective HIIT workouts. She has loads of them on there and they're all free! 

Oh and here's what I looked like right as I was taking off my coat...LOL!!

What I Ate Wednesday {16.1.19}

As we get used to our new home, I've been playing around with different backdrops for my blog pictures. This was my first time taking photos outside the front which started out as an effort to avoid the rain as this was a particularly wet & gloomy day! But because of our outside lights and the colours we painted our front door & posts (they used to all be a dark brown) I actually really like how this looks! We also changed the tiles and had the entire front of the house re-pointed (basically cleaned up the red brick and brought it back to its former glory). It's an Edwardian house so there is still plenty of work to be done! But we are getting there...slowly, haha!

Andrea's 5 Month Update

Look at this big boy! He puts a smile on my face everyday :) This happened just minutes after I had filmed his update. He's not quite sitting up on his own, more like leaning on his hands! I remember Emilia doing this at the same age...it's so cute! 

I honestly feel like this is such a basic outfit of mine...and one I gravitate towards often! I probably own about 5 cream jumpers similar to this one and I can't count how many pairs of khaki jeans/trousers I've gone through over the years! Paired with some brown boots and this will work in the autumn, winter and early spring so I wear a variation of this a lot!

Also I noticed I do the arm holding pose quite a bit...I mean it's in every.single. outfit post...which is kind of embarrassing! I need to come up with a different pose, hahaha! Seriously though, what is that about?!

Reading People's Assumptions About Me!

Note to self...these boots & this slate gravel do not mix well. Hahaha! I basically was sinking into the pebbles the entire time we were taking pictures. Oops. Anyway, I bought this jumper in the sale in Brown Thomas when we were last in Ireland as I had underpacked and needed one more outfit for the trip home. It was totally bought on a whim and I didn't realise how much I'd love it! These blouson sleeves & cropped combo are eeeverything!
