This outfit is nothing new, I've worn it before while not pregnant (just with different non-maternity jeans and similar sandals!) although I'm not sure I've featured it on the blog. I remember wearing it to a party we went to at Vidcon about 3 years ago! Thankfully the top is very flowy and still (just about) fits my bump!

This is the outfit I wore to our Meet the Teacher evening & date night. It ended up being really hot (it always is!) and at one point, whilst sitting on a tiny chair in Emilia's classroom fanning myself with our notes and sweating buckets I thought I might not make it out of there alive...lol. Honestly being that hot while pregnant is no fun!! But thankfully I did survive and am here to tell the tale!

One of my most highly requested videos lately has been how I meal plan for the week. So that's what today's video is all about...I talk about how I do it each Sunday, what kinds of recipes I use (all super easy by the way!), the benefits of having a meal plan and give you some ideas & tips on how to create your own one. I've also included this week's meal plan (it's different to the one in the video as these are filmed a week in advance!) here on the blog so you can copy mine if you want to. I hope this helps!

Meal Plan June 25th - 29th 2018
Monday
Lunch: Tuna & sweetcorn sandwich on rye bread
(Eduardo) Tuna & sweetcorn wrap
Dinner: Prawn curry with coconut cream, leeks & brown rice
I've just realised how similar this outfit of the day is to the last one...hahaha! Oops. I suppose this is what happens when you're in the final stages of pregnancy and you're running out of things to wear (or that fit!). I keep waiting for it to become proper summer/dress weather again but apart from one day this week it hasn't been warm enough. We do have a few formal events coming up next week which I will sharing my looks with you guys as sometimes those can be difficult when you're trying to accommodate a big bump!

The first of these photos was taken in London near our doctor's office...that is not my front door, haha! Although I wish it was - it's so pretty! This particular Wednesday was a very busy one, in fact it almost broke my pregnant a*s (lol). First we had our OB appointment in central which took all morning and then I brought Emilia to the hospital for a blood test in the later afternoon. After that it was date night and I was so shattered I almost called it off but I do think one date night a week is important...so I powered through and just made sure I was in bed by 9pm!
Part of the reason why I'm so exhausted lately (aside from the obvious, being 8 months pregnant!) is because I have been packing so much more into my day as I now wake up half an hour earlier to work out. I've been doing this five days a week for the past three weeks now and it has been working really well for me however it does mean that I had to modify my bedtime. Whereas I used to go to bed around 10pm I now go an hour earlier, and could probably go even earlier if I put my mind to it. Working out at 6am won't last forever because I know the new baby will take that freedom away from me but I'm enjoying it while it lasts and it has really helped make me more productive during the day. Hopefully when he gets into a bit more of a routine after the crazy newborn stage I can go back to this!
Today's video is a planning/organisational one. I get requests to do these quite a lot but never really know if people will find it interesting! I am very much into planning and organisation but it's not everyone's cup of tea so I hope this helps some of you, especially those with families/children/busy schedules etc.!
What I'm Wearing
Summer Tartan Shirt - Barbour (same style, different colour here)
This post is very delayed (it was meant to go out on Friday!) but we had Emilia's ballet show last Friday evening and it was a rather hectic day. Fridays are also PE day for Eduardo so here he is in his PE kit, just after coming home from school very chuffed with himself eating his pombears! He really wanted to join in on Mummy's pictures which I thought was so cute!
I know I've been wearing the same trousers a lot lately but I'm at that stage in my pregnancy where it's too late to shop for more maternity stuff so I'm afraid you'll have to bear with me for a few more weeks!
