Bianca wanted to join me for this little photoshoot :) Here's another very basic yet comfy maternity outfit! I swear flip flops are my best friends right now as any kind of footwear that doesn't involve me bending over to get them on is a gift from God. I have been known to spend about 20 minutes trying to tie up some of my strappy sandals & buckles and we have actually run quite late on numerous occasions because of this problem! I bought this top after having Alessia as it's actually a nursing top and I wore it a lot last summer. This has also reminded me of the fact that I'm going to need to think about easy-access breastfeeding wear after the baby is born! I think a postpartum/nursing shopping trip may be in order...

Today's video got pretty emotional...let's just chalk it up to pregnancy hormones! Although I was in a lot of pain and I think everything just got a bit too much. I am absolutely fine though and since that moment where I had a little mini-breakdown (lol) I have definitely been scaling it back and taking it easier! I also think Jonathan would murder me if I didn't! Sometimes as mothers we think we're superwomen and can do it all...but realistically we can't and something's got to give. I need to keep telling myself that though as I am the worst person to take this advice!

What's In Baby's Hospital Bag

I think these photos were taken on the one rainy/gloomy day out of the whole summer, haha! I'm almost not used to seeing puddles or grey skies anymore! Anyway today's video is all about what I packed for baby in his hospital bag which is basically just the changing bag I'm bringing to the hospital for him. If you've watched my other hospital bag videos I generally pack a separate bag for myself & one for baby. This is probably the least I've ever packed due to the fact that 1. it's baby number 4 so I've learned a lot and 2. the hospital I'm giving birth at provides a great deal for the baby already. I did not know that when I had Alessia (my first baby born in the UK) and that was very different to giving birth in Ireland. For Emilia & Eduardo I had to pack a ton more clothes, nappies, blankets, etc. whereas this bag is pretty minimal in comparison! See below for a full list of what I packed this time!

Doesn't life look idyllic when you're surrounded by pretty hydrangeas and fluffy white dogs?! Hahaha when really I was sweating buckets, had a blocked ear and two out of the six dogs were probably barking up a storm at a leaf who dared to move. This dress is not maternity at all but in a desperate search of something in my summer wardrobe that fit, it actually ticked the right boxes!

I also launched a couple more items to my jewellery line last night in case you missed it on Instastories. One of which I am wearing in this outfit, the constellation necklace in a glossy finish (shop it here). I added this option to the original line which came in a matte/sandblasted finish as well as two different chain lengths to the birthstone choker (45cm and 60cm), a birthstone ring and matching birthstone earrings. I have had this maxi dress forever...7 years to be exact! Here is the blog post I wrote when I first bought it, actually I think my mum got it for me if I remember correctly! It has taken me through each pregnancy and just goes to show that if you purchase good quality clothing and look after it well, those pieces can last a lifetime! This is the easiest and best kind of dress to wear during a summer pregnancy as it's super soft, breathable, loose and lightweight. And thankfully it still fits even though I'm currently about 18kg more than I was back in 2011!
