Well, hi there! It's been a while (like two months...) since my last blog post! But I'm back and it's not an April Fool's prank, I promise. I thought I'd ease in slowly with a simple What I Ate Wednesday - and as you can see, not much has changed! Actually this is a good tool for me because I've gained a few lbs recently so I need to get back on track!
Breakfast
Breakfast was porridge with almond milk, almonds, blueberries, cinnamon and a black coffee! I'm still drinking my water - I take a 500ml bottle in the mornings and fill it up another 3 times throughout the day to get to 2L!

Lunch
My lunch rarely changes when I'm at home as you can see! I had a red onion & chive bagel with applewood smoked ham, cheddar cheese (a dash of red & black pepper) and toasted it in our sandwich press. I also added some cherry tomatoes & cucumber, these are the staple veggies in our fridge! And I tried to drink another bottle of water.
Afternoon Coffee
When the children were napping I caught up on Keeping Up with the Kardashians accompanied by a black Nespresso coffee :) (Linizio Lungo)
Afternoon Snack
Later that afternoon I was feeling a bit peckish so had a strawberry Fruitopolis yoghurt and organic apple (I don't know why I mentioned this was organic...ha ha ha! But it was, and it tasted great!).
Dinner
For dinner we had beef tacos! This picture makes it look like all we ever eat are tomatoes & cucumber, but actually that's not the case I just didn't have any other veggies in my fridge! I made these with minced beef, kidney beans, garlic & herb taco seasoning and served them with tomatoes, cucumber, salsa and some grated cheddar. They were really delicious!
Dessert
It's no secret that chocolate Hobnobs are my vice! But I'm trying to not eat a whole pack practise portion control so I had just four along with my decaf coffee (black). I ended today at about 1.5L of water which isn't bad...it's so hard to drink a lot especially when you need to pee every 5 minutes!
And that's everything I ate today! You can watch the video I filmed today below:
Hope you enjoyed this post/video! I will be back with another one soon...not two months later ;)
Yay! glad you're back! x

Hello, Anna!
ReplyDeleteI loved your video and I'm so glad you are back! You've made me hungry for a ham and cheese bagel but it's 21:56pm so I don't think it's a great idea to have one! Anyway, I'm so glad you are back and I look forward to watching more of your videos. I don't make YouTube videos, although I'd love to but I am incredibly frightened. I have a blog and you inspire me to keep going with my blog, which is great!
Take care of yourself!
Much love
Natalie xx
Welcome back dear!

Good for you I'm trying my best to control myself of what I eat but it quite hard .I'm 27 and been always skinny no matter how mach I ate.I admit I didn't had that open appetite I had now .It came with my third child who turned 1 last week .I was 41kg before I get pregnant with him after his delivery I was 51kg. Now I'm between 46-44kg . Mostly 45kg but I would like to loss couple of kg and stop it that way. Weight never been problem to me until now. Not alone fighting with my weird appetite :D. Would like to get some tips from you.
ReplyDeleteI think your posts are perfect. I'm fan so when you posted this i freaking out and i was like: 'FINALLYYYYYY'. Big hugs from Chile <3 i adore you and you lovely family. (sorry for my english, i hope you can understand me)
ReplyDeleteHey anna so glad that your back and with my favourite kind of post (a WIAW!) and this one didnt disappoint
ReplyDeleteI used to use a bottle similar to the one featured in this post to keep track of water intake too, just to say those kind of bottles are thought to be carcinogenic if kept for months at a time, so ive recently invested in a water bottle thats BPA free, just thought id pass on that useless information haha and hope it didnt sound too depressing lol <3
Love you Anna <3
ReplyDeleteHi Anna! I can totally understand having 2 small children so my total admiration goes your way for being able to post. My boys are 8 and 10 now but when they were your kids' age I could barely shower! No joke! Love your what I ate Wednesdays and your blog in general! I just wrote a post about Cameron Diaz book, "The body" She drinks 1 liter of water before breakfast and I started drinking water before breakfast too. That helps a lot to get to 2 L. Great to hear from you again!! Keep them coming!
ReplyDeleteYay, so glad your back again :) Great post x

Porridge for breakfast is always the best, and it's great to use a visual diary to see your eating habits - mine would be a lot of Spinach hahah
