I get asked to do more diet-related posts like this all the time but hardly ever remember to take pictures for it! But today both Jofus & I are sick with the flu so I had nothing else to do, ha ha! I've literally just been eating and sleeping all day -- being sick while pregnant sucks! I'm hoping this will go away soon, but in the meantime here are today's eats!
Breakfast (9am)
Porridge with almond milk, 1/2 banana, blueberries & cinnamon
Cup of black coffee
Prenatal vit & iron supplement
Lunch (2:30pm)
Wholegrain pita bread with mozzarella, tomatoes, rocket, olive oil & sea salt
Snack (4pm)
Pineapple with natural probiotic yoghurt
Yummy! Really been loving this yoghurt lately, it's by Glenilen and has no nasty artificial sweeteners in it. I put it on absolutely everything, Jofus even has it in his fruit salad every morning!
Dinner (8pm)
"Quorma" with red peppers, onion & basmati rice
Was going to make salmon but we wanted some comfort food...ha ha :)
Dessert (10:30pm)
A couple of fig rolls while watching Breaking Bad ;)
Drinks
2+ litres of water
3 cups of Lemsip (just the regular stuff for the pregger...lucky Jofus got the max strength!)

ReplyDeleteLooks good! I had wholegrain life cereal with almond milk for breakie, a Lean Cuisine for lunch, a handful of pretzels, and for dinner chicken, rice and veggies! Now for dessert... Hehe. :-)
