Sorrento Day 1!

Some pictures from Day 1 in Sorrento!  We landed at 11:30am local time this morning and for the first time in my life I had an unpleasant flight experience :(  I'm normally really relaxed and happy when travelling as it's something I've been used to since a very young age but I guess being 7 months pregnant makes things a little less comfortable!  Today also makes me exactly 27 weeks which marks the beginning of the 3rd trimester - OMG!  I can't believe we're in the last one!  This pregnancy has flown past...I feel like it was only yesterday that I announced we were expecting!  

Anyhow, the flight was really uncomfortable and I felt nauseous, claustrophobic and sick the entire time :(  But once we got off the plane I was back to normal, thank goodness!  I was NOT going to let anything ruin this holiday -- I had been looking forward to it for so long!  Today was the only day where rain was forecast and it did rain a little bit when we arrived in Sorrento but it was still super hot so we weren't bothered by it.  We just skipped the beach and got settled in our hotel...then later that evening we did some window shopping and ate a yummy dinner in La Lanterna, which was the same restaurant where we had our rehearsal dinner -- aww, the memories! ;)

We are so happy to be back in Sorrento and can't wait for the weather to clear up tomorrow so we can go to the beach!  I also ate really badly today...waaay too many carbs, but they were all so good!  Ha ha ha :)  But I think we need to go buy some fresh fruit & yogurt and other healthy snacks to keep in our fridge.  When it comes to the pistachio ice-cream though, there's no stopping me!  ;)
