I got a lot of requests on yesterday's vlog to do a tutorial on the winged liner look I've been wearing recently. So here it is! It's a very clean, classic look that doesn't take a lot of effort...with a bit of practice! When I first started wearing make-up I remember having a really hard time with liquid liner...it was my absolute least favourite thing to apply, no matter how hard I tried it always either came out uneven or crooked. Then I found felt tip pen liners -- they changed my life! The one I used in this tutorial is by Eyeko but I know Maybelline also do a good one, and I'm sure there are a lot more by different brands. If you can get your hands on one, I promise it will make all the difference! They make liquid liner application 100 times easier. I find that I can keep my hand steady and have better control over where the product applies.
Another thing that helps me is working slowly, in smaller strokes along the upper lashline, then when I get to the "flick" I bring the liner up from the bottom waterline and join it to the top. (I show you guys how to do this a lot more clearly in the video!) Also remember that you can clean everything up with a Q-tip and concealer so don't worry if you make mistakes!
