I still need to get off my bum and take photos of the items I got from my ASOS haul but I've literally been working nonstop the last few days so for the meantime, I'm going to leave you guys with my New Year's Resolutions for 2011. I hope I'm not too late :)
1. Drink more water. I drink hardly any water, it's terrible! I just dislike the "taste" of water if that even makes sense. It's so boring to me, I prefer milk or Diet Coke!
2. Film more videos for my YouTube channel. I'm going to attempt to upload every second day...we'll see how that goes!
3. Relax and try not to let things stress me out so much. I would love to be less preoccupied with having everything absolutely perfect.
4. Plan my wedding for under €10K. Pretty self-explanatory! (Read more on that here.)
5. Continue to work hard at my career. I absolutely love my job and I feel so blessed that things have been going incredibly well over the last few months in particular. I hope it continues to do so in 2011!
What are your New Year's Resolutions? I'd love to know about them!
Stay Stylish!

Great resolutions Anna.
ReplyDeleteMines are a bit contradictory :
1) To fall in love again
2) NOT to fall in love again xD
Have a nice Sunday:)
Hi Anna
ReplyDeleteTo make water more "interesting" try adding a few sprigs of mint or citrus - lime, lemon or even orange.
You could just put it in like they do with cokes or cocktails or make a jug with a few pieces and let it sit in the fridge for a nice cool drink.
Fresh mint is really easy to grow yourself or I'm sure you can find it in the shops
Hope that helps. I love your blog and youtube chanel. Keep up the good work and don't forget to relax and enjoy yourself ~
I have the same problem with water. I hate its taste. Haha..
ReplyDeleteFor 2011 I need to take a job, I want to travel more and I want to get my driver licence! :)
Wish you the best for 2011! :D
good list! and good idea, since I never do resolutions!
ReplyDelete1. Drink more water
2. Relax and stress less
3. Work at my translating career
4. Work on a book of my poetry and my husbands drawings to publish
5. and the most important, prepare for and accomplish the London 10K run this May in honour of my mother-in-law, Zina Smerzy Cerri, who passed away from cancer this past November. (Thank you for the post about your father last month!)

Is your book finished yet? If so, how can I get it?? :)
ReplyDeleteMine is to write a diary entry every day, I love keeping diaries but never stick to it...
ReplyDeleteAnd I really want to learn all the lyrics to every song by my favourite band, which is harder than it sounds as they have about 150 songs...
:)
Sounds like some good resolutions. I'm with you on the relax thing for sure. Also trying to drink more water. I like it, and it's pretty much all I drink but for some reason I get lazy and just don't get some more. I need to keep my new water bottle with me at all times I think! Also trying to lose weight, it's a life time struggle for me.
ReplyDeleteMy new years resolution is to try and make sure that once a day, I have made someone smile, either by paying them a compliment or just generally having a bit of fun with them!
ReplyDeleteI don't like the "taste" of water either and can't drink it first thing in the morning. But try it with sliced cucumber, it helps.
ReplyDeleteMine are to...
ReplyDelete1. get a few followers on my blog (I just started it)
2. have more fun!
3. and to travel around NZ more!

Great resolutions!! My #1 is to:
ReplyDeleteWalk again!!!! I just had knee surgery because I slipped and fell due the to the rain :( and it will be a long journey to recovery and walking, I'm terrified!!! But I want to overcome it and be strong. I am an active person so this has left me so negative and depressed so my #2 is:
Don't get preoccupied with the stupid little things in life (ex, what people say or think about you...) Now after my injury I realize what's most important in life: health, family
Thanks for reading!!! Good luck to everyone on their resolutions!!!
Something that helped me drink more water (if you don't do this already...): I had an issue when I went to school in Southern California with the water tasting awful compared to my tap water in Northern California that I grew up with. So, I kept a Brita water filter in my fridge that way my water tasted good and was always cold. Especially after a bike ride or a long walk a glass of cold water always hits the spot! It's tricky at first to not reach for the soda or juice, but you will feel a lot better after a while and will only want water. :) Hope this helps!
ReplyDeletegreat resolution !

Great resolutions! Congrats on your engagement and you can for sure plan a wedding on a budget! My husband were able to have our wedding for around that amount and we did it all on our own.
ReplyDeleteI used to hate the taste of water too but I started forcing myself to drink it and now it's not so bad. My new years res is definitely to eat healthier...but it's not really a new year res b/c when I decide something I do it right away and you get so much more energy.
ReplyDeletelove those bears getting married!
I dont drink water either... I drink tea!! No sugar, no milk!!!
ReplyDeleteI love green tea and it's healthy too!
