Minimalist

How adorable does Albi look in my bag?!  I used to think it was mean to carry dogs in handbags...but now I realise I was wrong.  Albi actually loves my bags, he climbs into them any chance he gets!  This is something I only noticed very recently, I had bought him a carrier before and he hated it so I just kind of gave up but yesterday I put him in my handbag for fun and he loved it so much he didn't want to get out!  He's so cute, I love him!

Keeping it pretty simple with a very minimalist look...here's what I wore:

Today I had a meeting with two great literary agents about my book.  I'm so excited for it and left feeling so happy I could sing.  My book is slowly but surely becoming a reality...I can hardly believe it!  Almost three years ago, I told my dad about this concept I had called The Style Diet.  I talked to him about how I believed that if girls learned about self-confidence and embracing their body shapes at a young age, there would be far fewer problems like eating disorders, body confidence issues and low self-esteem.  He absolutely loved my idea and encouraged me to write a book about it.  At the time it didn't seem like a reality, I was 19 years old and beginning my 2nd year of college doing a course I had no interest in which felt totally wrong for me.  As much as my dad valued 3rd level education, language and literature I think he knew deep down that I had a different calling in life.   It's hard to believe that I'm now so close to publishing my book and things have changed immensely.  I am a huge believer in working hard to achieve your goals, never giving up on your dreams and holding on to them no matter how impossible or difficult they may seem.  If you have passion and drive, you can do whatever you want in life because hard work DOES pay off!
