I have dark circles under my eyes, so I'm always excited to try new products that counteract that! I found that with this product, although it provides good coverage, the consistency is too watery for my oily skin and it was prone to sliding off my face. I have read other great reviews on this product though, so I genuinely believe that this is due to my particular skin type.
The one thing I didn't like about this product is the fact that there are only two shades, Light and Medium/Dark. I of course, chose shade Light as I am pale right now, however it was still too dark for me, especially since I always try to keep my concealer in a shade lighter than my foundation (because I have such dark under-eye circles). I think I would have enjoyed this product much more if it had been in a lighter shade.
What I did love about the Garnier Roll-On is that it has a cooling effect when you apply it and I like the packaging a lot. It reminded me a bit of the Touche Eclat by Yves Saint Laurent, which is of course a high-end product so if you're looking for a good drugstore under-eye concealer which is similar to that and you have dry or normal skin, this could be a good one to try out. It retails at £9.99 in Boots.
Other concealers I have tried and tested include Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage (totally forgot about this one in my video!!) which is amazing for covering blemishes, Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat which is a good under-eye concealer but again, slightly too liquidy for my oily skin, Benefit Boi-ing which is great for completely concealing blemishes but slightly too cakey for under the eyes and my favourite of the moment, Maybelline Mineral concealer which brightens under my eyes and conceals blemishes at the same time.
Let me know what concealers you've tried and tested! Have you tried the Garnier Tinted Roll-On? What are your thoughts?
Stay Stylish!

Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer is my favorite for under eyes.
ReplyDeleteTouche Eclat is nice as a radiance booster, but does nothing to conceal on me.:/
I love this concealer - I have light-medium skin with freckles and it covers well, lasts all day, and doesn't look mask-y. I picked it up in London, and hope it makes it to the states soon!
