Le Floof TV: Don't Sabotage Yourself!

This is just a fun little skit I did with Jonathan for his comedy channel, Le Floof TV (subscribe!) about sabotaging yourself. I personally think Albi stole the show with his acting skills, don't you?! How cute was he with my iPhone?! Have you ever sabotaged yourself by being impatient and completely ruining everything for yourself in the process? I'm pretty sure I have...I think this was worse when I was a teenager though. Once you get older you realise that the more you need to wait for something, the more worthwhile it is. This is true of a lot of things in life. If you think about it, don't you appreciate things so much better if you had to wait for them? For example, I wanted a puppy my whole life but I was never allowed to get one because my mom is allergic to dogs. When Jonathan and I first moved in together, we were both at college so it just wasn't practical to get a dog. Then finally, last August Jonathan bought me Albi and I appreciate him SO much. Everyday I remind myself of how lucky I am to have him in my life :)

The irony of course, is that Albi is a hypo-allergenic dog so my mom is not allergic to his coat because he doesn't shed. Ha ha! But as a child, I travelled a lot, so it didn't make sense to have a puppy then. I feel like when I got Albi, the timing was just right. I was lonely living in the UK away from my family and friends. Also, the year before that I had lost someone very close to me, so I needed the companionship of a dog. I couldn't have asked for a better friend, we do everything together, we even share a pillow!

So...how did this turn into a post about Albi?! LOL!
